Sapa is a former French hill station situated in the sweeping valleys near the Chinese border. Its high elevation of 1600 meters creates its cool climate which inspired the French to build villas there as a summer retreat. Today, Sapa still attracts visitors for its stunning scenery, comfortable climate, colorful markets, and a variety of ethnic hill tribes who live in nearby villages. Day 1 : Hanoi - Halong
Our trip starts with an overnight train journey from Vietnam’s capital city to the border town of Lao Cai. The luxury Victoria Express departs at 22:00 pm

Day 2 : Saturday: Sapa
The train arrives at the Lao Cai train station at approximately 06:00. There will be a vehicle waiting to transfer us to Sapa. The drive to Sapa is only 33 km but it takes around 1.5 hours. Once at Sapa, we will check into Victoria hotel, we have a freshen up, and have breakfast at the hotel and then enjoy a free morning to explore around town. Meet your guide from the hotel lobby at 10am for a walking tour to the hill tribe villages of Cat Cat, home to the black H'mong hill-tribes minority peoples. As we walk to the villages nestled in the valley below Sapa, we will meet some of the local minority people on their way to and from Sapa. Day 3 : Sunday: Bac Ha Market - Victoria Express train back to Hanoi
Rising to the sounds of morning coming to life for another lovely day, we breakfast and head out for a stunning spectacular of bobbling bazaar. Bac Ha is considered one of the most wonderful and colorful markets in extreme north Vietnam where thousands of local peoples in their traditional attires busily buy and sell the local produces. Dog, cat, pig, horse... are all on sales. This is golden opportunity to take best shots! Afternoon we will have a pleasant walk to Ban Pho village, home to flower H'mong people. Opportunity to interact with friendly local people and have pleasant walk amongst tribal villages. Transfer to Laocai station for overnight Victoria Express back to Hanoi.Overnight at Victoria Express .(Breakfast and lunch included)

Day 4: Monday: Hanoi - Halong
We arrive back to Hanoi station around 6am. Pick up from station and head out for a 3 hour drive through the Red River Delta to Ha Long City. Breakfast and comfort stop will make en route. Arrive in Halong City we transfer to a refurbished wooden sailing junk for a cruise through the limestone cliffs and emerald waters of Halong Bay, giving us the chance to take in the stunning scenery of this World Heritage Site.

• 13h00: Have lunch with welcome wine.
• 14h00: A fantastic cruise in Ha Long bay
• 15h00. Cruise amongst the stunning limestone back drop and round over Thien Cung cave , Dau Go cave, Tuan Chau island, visit Sungsot cave .
• Optional swim at lovely beaches.
• Afternoon tea with pastries on the sundeck or in the restaurant and drink before dinner
• 18h00: Junk cruise anchors by the lagoon
• 19h00: Enjoy 4 course diner and overnight on Junk. (Lunch and Diner included)

Day 5 : Halong Bay Cruises

• 08h00: Enjoy breakfast while cruising
• 09h00: Free at leisure for swimming.
• 10h00: Another wonderful cruise to visit Tortoise island,Man’s head island, Bo nau cave , Luon cave. Floating villages and fish farm.
• 12h30: Enjoy 4 course fresh seafood lunch.
• 14h00: Visit Hang Trong cave, have a swim at Three peaches beach.
• 16h00 Free leisure for fishing and drinking

Day 6 : Halong-Hanoi
Rising to the sound of ocean coming to life for another lovely day. We breakfast over sunset:

• 07h30 : Junk boat once again sets sail through breathtaking secluded Halong bay
• 08h00: Enjoy breakfast while cruising
• 9h00: Visit Bai tu long Bay, Teapot : Visit Bai tu long Bay , Teapot island , Chopstiks island , Bai tho mountain.
• 11h00 : Return to Halong city and have lunch on board.
• 12h00 : Back to Halong wharf and disembarkTransfer back to Hanoi. Arrival Hanoi by 5pm. Drop off at your hotel. The trip concludes in Hanoi.
